First edition, 8vo, (5), 287, (2) pp. Illustrated in colour throughout, including several maps of wine regions, Original cloth backed boards, decorated in silver, green and black, rebacked retaining the original backstrip, which is dull, some of the usual wear to the metallic finish of the boards. With a two-leaf advertising panel for Booth'sDry Gin (illustrated in the same Savoy illustration style) tipped in between the page containing the Henry Aldrich quotation, and the title page (see last photo).
A wonderfully designed collection of cocktails evoking the spirit and gaiety of the era.
